What are the Ideal Proportions of Rose Cut Diamonds?
A Rose Cut Diamond does not fall into the norm compared to modern cuts, hence its proportions are dependent on personal choice. The above mentioned rose cut diamond size chart assumes the most traditional and sought-after depth of between 30 to 35%. However, there’s plenty of interest for rose cuts with a higher dome by some consumers.
While we focused here on rounded rose cut diamonds there are numerous fancy cut rose cuts that exist today from pear shaped to ovals and hexagons. All of which have their own appeal but uniquely different ct to mm conversions and vice versa.
